16-year-old Lilly Anne Svrlinga is a rising young talent from Pumpkintown, South Carolina. Growing up in a small country town, she spends her days working in the garden, writing, practicing, and playing music. She picked up guitar at age 5, added banjo at age 7, and by age 10 had already earned the South Carolina Bluegrass & Traditional Music Association’s top scholarship award.

Lilly Anne has been featured in the Southeastern Bluegrass Association Magazine as well as in multiple regional newspapers. She has already shared the stage with artists including Balsam Range, Edgar Loudermilk, Southern Legacy, Kevin Prater, Fast Track, Junior Sisk, and more.

In 2024, she took first place in Youth Guitar at the historic Galax Old Fiddlers Convention, and in 2023 she earned two first-place wins at the South Carolina State Fiddlers Convention — Youth Guitar and Youth Clawhammer Banjo.

Over the past few years, Lilly Anne has performed with her collaborative regional band Creekwater Collective as well as the Lilly Anne Band, at a growing list of major Bluegrass festivals including The Forever Bluegrass Festival, Tony Rice Festival, Earl Scruggs Festival, Brown County Ohio Fest, IBMA, and others. She has also enjoyed several memorable backstage moments at The Grand Ole Opry — once with Josh Williams & Rhonda Vincent, and again with John Meador & Vince Gill — even singing/playing a few songs with Vince Gill and spending time talking instruments with George Gruhn.

Lilly Anne was recently endorsed by Collings Guitars and continues to build momentum as one of the next young leading musicians in Bluegrass.
